About Us
We are Bas and Dominique,
a couple in love and in creativity.
Dominique studied photography at Technova College, Bas studied film at the Netherlands Film Academy.
In early 2024, we decided it was time to combine our passions, and that’s how Studio Halflight was born: where light and dark meet, and where we mix photo and video with a touch of boldness.
We have a soft spot for people who dare to be just a little different. So whether you’re getting married, stepping in front of the camera with your family or partner, or believe your cat/rabbit/dog also deserves a photoshoot, we make sure it feels like it’s entirely yours.
What makes us happy? The little things.
A giggle in between, a glance full of love,
an unexpected hug; moments you might
almost miss, but that actually say everything.
That’s what we capture. So that later you’re not just looking back at images, but at a story that
makes you smile again and again.
